The mission of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) is to protect the financial interests of the European Union and to fight fraud, corruption and any other irregular activity, including misconduct within the European Institutions. In pursuing this mission in an accountable, transparent and cost-effective manner, OLAF aims to provide quality service to the citizens of Europe.

The 1st Conference on The Protection and optimization of Public Funds: co-operation between national and international authorities was held from 14-16 may 2007 in Rabat, Morocco. An overview of this conference is being put on DVD-Rom. All relevant material used on the conference - like PowerPoint presentations, documents, speeches and video's - will made available for the participants in html pages with embedded movies, PowerPoint and documents of the speakers. As a bonus there are the conclusions of the conference in different movie formats for easy access. The DVD-ROM is made in English and French.

The Flying Pig Hostels Amsterdam is a world wide well-known hostel (with currently two locations), which has won various awards.

For more than 8 years Martin has supported my internet presence with a remarkable combination of skills and personal involvement – which has developed into a close friendship I deeply appreciate. One of Martin’s qualities is his patience. As a very busy consultant, trainer, presenter and author I truly had little time for getting to grips with all the – then new – concepts. But Martin stayed patient even when I got irritated, and he never took it personally. What a blessing!

As you read, you’re probably waiting for the downside. Well, I can only say that I learned valuable communications skills through the occasional challenge that I had in making totally clear to him what I really wanted; I had to slow down and go step by step. And, I discovered I needed to check his spelling carefully! So even this downside seems to have ‘up’ qualities ... which have been frequent occasions for us to enjoy laughing at our own frailties!

Hostels Amsterdam is a pet project. With some friends we are working on this portal to gather as much relevant information for the Amsterdam tourist as possible. Interesting on this site are the customized location maps where you can find all the information you will need when you are visiting Amsterdam. Another key feature is the Amsterdam Agenda, where you can see what's on, when and where. For me it's a fun site to work on.

We optimized this website for Google with the keywords 'hostels amsterdam' to get a top position.The competition for these keywords is massive and we are really proud to be on the first position. ;-)

A very interesting site and subject to work on. We are now working on restyling the site to the current standards of the W3Org, and optimizing it for the search engines.
